Sesamothamnus guerichii is a rare gem from the desert regions of southwestern Angola to northwestern Namibia. Its unique habitat makes it a prized find for plant enthusiasts worldwide. The seeds we offer were harvested at the beginning of 2025, ensuring their freshness.
Sesamothamnus guerichii thrives in direct sunlight, so place it where it can soak up those rays. It prefers temperatures above 10°C (50°F) to stay healthy. Water it thoroughly once a week during the growth season, ensuring the soil dries out completely before the next drink. In the winter months, you can scale back to watering only once a month. Keep it in well-draining soil similar to what you'd use for cacti.
This succulent isn't just rare—it's striking. With its club-like caudex and thorny stems, it's a standout in any succulent lineup. The bright yellow flowers add an unexpected burst of color, making Sesamothamnus guerichii an eye-catching addition to your plant collection. Its scarcity and unique structure make it a must-have for serious collectors.
We offer free tracked worldwide shipping for all orders above $100. Just choose "Free Shipping" as the shipping form during checkout.
It is possible to order a phytosanitary certificate for your order. The cost is $20 per order, regardless of the quantity of the plants. You can choose to include one in the checkout when choosing the shipping method.
Issuing the certificate may delay the shipping by up to 2 weeks. We will inform you about the shipping via e-mail.
Please note all plants are shipped with neither the pot nor the soil to prevent any damage to the plants and to comply with worldwide import regulations regarding soil. We sometimes cut the leaves as well to ensure a safer transit for the plant.
Not satisfied with the plants your received? No worries! Send them back to us and we will refund you the cost of the plants and the cost of the return shipping! Or we can send you new plants, it's up to you.
