Euphorbia turbiniformis is a rare find, known for its unique round shape and smooth texture. This plant is native exclusively to the arid northeast regions of Somalia. It grows in desert shrublands at low elevations around 300 meters. This narrow habitat makes it quite rare and vulnerable to habitat loss. Our available plants are grafted specimens aged 2-3 years.
When it comes to care, Euphorbia turbiniformis aligns with other drought-tolerant succulents. Use well-draining cactus soil and make sure to water it only when the soil is completely dry. This plant tolerates bright indirect light but steer clear of prolonged direct sun to avoid scorching its light-green skin. Keep the temperature above 13° C (55° F) to ensure healthy growth.
This succulent stands out because of its spherical patterns and thornless structure. Unlike many other succulents, it has a compact, slow-growing form. It produces small yellow flowers on sturdy peduncles, offering a rare floral display for a globular euphorbia. Its smooth, round appearance sets it apart from the usual spiky crowd, making it perfect for minimalist arrangements or collectors seeking something atypical.
