Aloe descoingsii, also known as Pepe Aloe, hails from the unique landscapes of Madagascar. This tiny succulent thrives in its native island's specific climate, which makes it a rare gem for collectors. The plants we offer are 2 years old seedlings, ready to bring a touch of Madagascar to your home garden.
Aloe descoingsii prefers well-drained soil and can handle light from partial shade to full sun. Water it using the soak and dry method, making sure the soil dries out completely between waterings. It is extremely drought-tolerant, so it’s better to water less frequently. Protect it from frost and keep it in temperatures above 13° C (55° F). During winter, when it’s not growing, reduce watering to about once a month.
This miniature succulent is a visual delight with its fleshy, triangular leaves that boast white spots and toothed edges. Its compact, domed shape fits just about anywhere. In late summer and autumn, it surprises with small but charming yellowish-pink to orange-red flowers. Despite its small size, Aloe descoingsii captivates collectors with its striking patterns and resilience, perfect for anyone looking to expand their unique plant collection.
We offer free tracked worldwide shipping for all orders above $100. Just choose "Free Shipping" as the shipping form during checkout.
It is possible to order a phytosanitary certificate for your order. The cost is $20 per order, regardless of the quantity of the plants. You can choose to include one in the checkout when choosing the shipping method.
Issuing the certificate may delay the shipping by up to 2 weeks. We will inform you about the shipping via e-mail.
Please note all plants are shipped with neither the pot nor the soil to prevent any damage to the plants and to comply with worldwide import regulations regarding soil. We sometimes cut the leaves as well to ensure a safer transit for the plant.
