Adenium somalense comes from the sun-drenched lands of East Africa, including Somalia, Ethiopia, and Kenya. It's used to warm climates with well-draining soil, making it a bit picky about where it grows outside its native habitat. Our imported plants bring a touch of Africa to your collection.
These beauties love bright light, so keep them in partial shade to full sun. They thrive above 4°C (40°F) but aim for even warmer conditions to see them really shine. Water sparingly, letting the soil dry out fully between drinks to avoid root rot. In winter, cut back on watering even further, and ensure they stay cozy with temperatures above 10°C (50°F).
Adenium somalense stands out with its tall, conical caudex, sometimes hidden underground, which is quite a spectacle. When it flowers, expect a show of star-shaped blossoms in white or pink with stunning deep pink or red edges. This unique form and its brilliant blooms make it a prized piece for any serious succulent collector.
We offer free tracked worldwide shipping for all orders above $100. Just choose "Free Shipping"Â as the shipping form during checkout.
It is possible to order a phytosanitary certificate for your order. The cost is $20 per order, regardless of the quantity of the plants. You can choose to include one in the checkout when choosing the shipping method.
Issuing the certificate may delay the shipping by up to 2 weeks. We will inform you about the shipping via e-mail.
Please note all plants are shipped with neither the pot nor the soil to prevent any damage to the plants and to comply with worldwide import regulations regarding soil. We sometimes cut the leaves as well to ensure a safer transit for the plant.
Not satisfied with the plants your received? No worries! Send them back to us and we will refund you the cost of the plants and the cost of the return shipping! Or we can send you new plants, it's up to you.
