Euphorbia columnaris calls the dry landscapes of Somalia home. Itâs one of the rarest types of euphorbias, making it a coveted find for plant enthusiasts. While its cultural history isn't well-documented, its rarity speaks volumes for succulent collectors.
Euphorbia columnaris loves full sun to partial sun and needs at least six hours of light daily. Watch out for frost as it's not cold hardy, so keep it above 13° C (55° F). Water it like any other succulent: allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. During the growing season, a little fertilizer helps, but skip it in winter when the plant takes its rest.
This plant stands out with its columnar shape and unique spines, which give it a cactus-like appearance. Its yellow flowers add a pop of color. Despite being rare, itâs drought-tolerant and fits well indoors, making it an exceptional choice for the collector looking to add a distinctive piece to their collection.
We offer free tracked worldwide shipping for all orders above $100. Just choose "Free Shipping"Â as the shipping form during checkout.
It is possible to order a phytosanitary certificate for your order. The cost is $20 per order, regardless of the quantity of the plants. You can choose to include one in the checkout when choosing the shipping method.
Issuing the certificate may delay the shipping by up to 2 weeks. We will inform you about the shipping via e-mail.
Please note all plants are shipped with neither the pot nor the soil to prevent any damage to the plants and to comply with worldwide import regulations regarding soil. We sometimes cut the leaves as well to ensure a safer transit for the plant.
