Euphorbia aureoviridiflora grows in the unique, rocky landscapes of northwestern Madagascar. It is found clinging to the steep cliffs of the Tsingy limestone formations. Due to its limited range and threats from habitat loss and illegal collection, it holds a Vulnerable status on the IUCN Red List. The plants that we are selling are 2 years old seedlings, sustainably propagated.
This rare succulent prefers bright, direct sunlight and must be planted in gritty, well-draining soil. Water it sparingly and allow the soil to dry completely before watering again. It's not frost-tolerant, so maintain temperatures above 13° C (55° F) to keep it healthy, especially during the winter when it needs less water.
Euphorbia aureoviridiflora stands out for its low, shrubby form adapted to cling to harsh limestone cliffs. Its likely green-yellow flowers add a subtle charm, although detailed descriptions are hard to find. Its rarity and the unique environment it calls home make it a coveted piece for collectors seeking something truly exclusive. The conservation and ethical sourcing only add to its allure.
