Adenium boehmianum hails from southern Angola and northwest to central Namibia. Known for its presence in desert and dry shrublands, this semi-succulent shrub thrives in arid environments where only the toughest survive. The plant offered is a mature import, directly introduced from its native habitat to your collection.
This plant thrives in warmth and bright sunlight, so aim for temperatures above 18°C (65°F). Ensure that it has a well-draining soil mix, like those meant for cacti and succulents. Water sparingly. Let the soil dry out thoroughly between waterings. In winter, when the plant goes dormant, reduce watering significantly to about once every 2-3 months. Persistent cold below 10°C (50°F) should be avoided.
Adenium boehmianum stands out with its robust, thick-stemmed look typical of desert survivors. It forms bold shapes, showcasing natureâs artistry in adapting to harsh climates. While not commonly flagged as rare, its limited native range makes it a noteworthy find for plant enthusiasts. Resilient and visually striking, it's a treasure for those who appreciate succulents with unique growth habits.
We offer free tracked worldwide shipping for all orders above $100. Just choose "Free Shipping"Â as the shipping form during checkout.
It is possible to order a phytosanitary certificate for your order. The cost is $20 per order, regardless of the quantity of the plants. You can choose to include one in the checkout when choosing the shipping method.
Issuing the certificate may delay the shipping by up to 2 weeks. We will inform you about the shipping via e-mail.
Please note all plants are shipped with neither the pot nor the soil to prevent any damage to the plants and to comply with worldwide import regulations regarding soil. We sometimes cut the leaves as well to ensure a safer transit for the plant.
